An Unexpected Visitor
1.	Saw no sign	Did not see
2.	Settled back on a sofa	Lay back and made oneself comfortable
3.	Jolted her awake	Awakened with a shock
4.	Swallowed  her scream of fear	Stopped a scream before it sounded
5.	Fast rising to his throat	Quickly coming up from within, about to be sounded
6.	Took his breath away	Startled or surprised
7.	Hovering over	Remaining near something
8.	Dropped her search	Gave up/ stopped seeking or searching for something
9.	Scuttled out	Ran out with short, quick steps, usually with fear
10.	Tears of relief	Tears brought about when one feels suddenly relieved and free from worry
11.	Involuntarily flowed	Oozed out unconsciously or without control
12.	Gathered her into my arms	Pulled towards oneself in a hug
